Personal Training is a great way to fast track your training – and it is all about YOU! Personal Training is for everyone regardless of age, ability or fitness level. You can choose between a 30 min, 45 min or 60 min session and you can even share your Personal Training session with a friend. The exercises you do during your training session can vary from cardiovascular to flexibility and or resistance training or even a combination. You can train indoors or outdoors.

Do you need help to reach your physical goals?

Boxing is a 45 minute, high intensity workout that focuses on co-ordination, power, cardiovascular, strength and core conditioning. Boxing is one of the most popular fitness classes out today as it is guaranteed to raise your heart rate and tone the whole body, especially those arms, shoulders and abdominals. The instructor will teach you proper punching and kicking techniques to avoid injury. This type of group class is suitable for all levels of fitness as you can work at your own pace and release your daily frustrations in a positive way.

Do you need to blow off a bit of steam?

Cardio Mix Up is a 45 minute workout focusing on increasing your cardiovascular fitness. This class includes activities using the X trainer, bike, skipping, walking / jogging, stair climbs, step ups etc to increase your heart rate and keep it elevated for the duration of the session. Cardio Mix Up is for everyone regardless of fitness level or age as you work at your own pace.

Does your heart need a kick start?

I Pump is a resistance circuit and runs for 45 minutes. It incorporates a variety of weight bearing exercises that is designed to not only tone your whole body but increase your heart rate too. I Pump is set up with a number of stations ranging from pushups to bicep curls, lunges to static holds and everything in between. A designated amount of time is spent at each station before moving on. I Pump is for everyone regardless of fitness level or age. You work at you own pace but have the luxury of having a trainer to push you if you want. Alternative exercises are available in the case of long term injuries or conditions.

Most types exercise we do and even the daily movement patterns we make tighten certain muscles and overstretch others. Pilates is a program which aims to create a balance in the body by using the mind to control the muscles. Pilates focuses on the core postural muscles that provide support to the spine, which in turn gives you a greater understanding of your body position during exercise and daily tasks. Pilates teaches you about awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and strengthens the deep torso muscles, which are important to help alleviate and prevent back pain. Pilates will also strengthen weak muscles and elongate bulky ones. By understanding your body, Pilates will give you the confidence you need to stand tall.

Is your posture stopping you from getting out of that ‘slump’?

Kool Kids is a 45 minute workout that is designed specifically for children between the ages of 9 and 18 and incorporates a variety of exercises from all of the other classes. Kool Kids classes are programmed around the school term and involve progression of exercises to get results and see improvement in children’s fitness levels and body composition. Their results are tracked and recorded in a non-intrusive manner that is based on fun, games and physical challenges.
