Lose Fat,Look Great & feel Healthier:With The KetoSystem!

Have you tried countless weight loss diets but failed to get results? Ever wondered why weight loss diets are often unsuccessful? Do you know how to switch on your body's natural fat burning process?

The KetoSystem is the most effective fat loss program available. The KetoSystem assists you to lose up to 2kg of fat per week whilst preserving your muscle mass. Most calorie-restricted diets produce disappointing results principally due to the excessive loss of muscle mass. This loss of muscle reduces your metabolic rate (ability to burn calories) and increases your likelihood of you putting the fat back on (yo-yo dieting). Losing muscle mass and reducing your metabolic rate tends to create a vicious cycle of fat gain which causes hormonal and metabolic abnormalities that eventually promote further fat gain. The KetoSystem avoids these damaging effects of dieting because it is a fat loss system, not a weight loss system.

Your body can burn fat, glucose or protein for energy. When we burn fat we produce chemicals called ketones. We can measure them in the urine to know we are burning fat efficiently. High levels of dietary carbohydrates or high glycaemic load foods work with the hormone insulin to "switch off" fat burning and increase fat gain. So it becomes virtually impossible to lose fat if you have raised your insulin levels. When your body's blood sugar and insulin levels are low enough you will switch to a higher level of fat burning! This is the secret to the KetoSystem. Eating less food is not the answer. To burn fat you need to restrict high glycaemic load foods to a level where your body will produce less of the hormone insulin.

Myths About Food & Fitness:With Studio 54 Health & Fitness!

To lose weight I must eat less….
If you eat more than you burn off you'll gain weight. Boosting your activities is the best way to balance the equation than eating less. By eating a very low kilojoule diet your body goes into a survival phase slowing your metabolism and resorting to burning lean muscle, instead of fat.

Muscle turns to fat when you stop exercising….
Fat and muscle are different types of tissue so one cannot turn into the other. Muscle consumes more kilojoules even when you're not exercising, so if you allowed your muscle mass to drop but ate the same amount of food you'd store the excess kilojoules as fat.

High calcium in my diet should be avoided….
A recent study into weight loss and calcium in the diet showed people on a high calcium diet lost more weight than those not. Researchers believe calcium works by encouraging fat cells to stop, well, getting fatter. Research showed the cells burn extra fat.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day….
This subject still seems to be up for debate. However, a light breakfast should always be on the menu. When you wake up in the morning your body is cleaning itself of the toxins and digestive waste and your body is in intense detox mode. During the morning hours when digestion is fully completed the body goes into survival phase. When in gear the body is in its most energy producing mode. This is when most of the energy comes from fat burning. Think about it. You've just had 6-8 hours sleep, more if you're lucky and you're now just waking up bursting with energy for a new start to the day. Whether you're heading off to work, running the kids to school or doing your morning exercise, doing these things while on empty will burn fat instead of storing fat. Confine morning food intake to veggies, soup, and fresh light protein; such as poached or boiled eggs. If you're on the run grab a piece of fruit or plain yogurt.

And later on……………….

Snacking makes you fat….
The body uses about 20% of the brains available glucose by 10 am so a low fat carb snack like a banana, or sports bar or even a low fat milk shake, is ideal. Glucose levels drop throughout the day and this is when we snack. We just have to know what the best snacks we should reach for; Cashew nuts, fresh or dried fruit, cottage cheese, yogurt, plain popcorn, turkey slices are your best options. Bananas are perfect for the night time snack should you have to; these contain the amino acid tryptophan, a precursor for a good nights sleep.

Omega 3 May Save Your Life:With Groves Natural Therapies!

Omega 3 May Save Your Heart. Cardio Vascular Disease (CVD) is the most prevalent condition in western society the dramatic rise in obesity and inflammatory conditions like arthritis are driving this disease on a grand scale. Predominately our diets are high in omega 6 and low in omega 3. This combination increases inflammation, poor gut health and poor digestion function. Omega 6 is derived from grains & vegetable oils and increases inflammatory conditions like CVD and rheumatoid arthritis (RA), just having RA will increase the CVD risk threefold. Omega 3 from fish like salmon, mackerel and mullet down regulate or reduce inflammation if consumed daily.

Research carried out in Perth last year demonstrated that inflammation is a key marker of CVD health, if you have one Omega 3 fish meal per day you reduce inflammatory markers like cytokines (secreted proteins which increase inflammation), reduce triglycerides, stabilise blood sugar and heart rhythm.

Further investigation into the makeup of Omega 3 has identified the EPA as major anti-inflammation component.

Fish may assist in prostate health, EPA and DHA (Omega 3) intake may reduce the risk of total and advanced prostate cancer this was discovered in a 14 year study in America published in 2004. (Am J Clin Nutr. 2004 Jul;80(1):204-16.)

Gut health plays a major role in breaking down inflammation mediators before they enter the blood stream. In our clinic we carried out a test to determine gut health, if the test is positive we can normally correct the gut dysbiosis in less than 4 weeks.

Our Cellular Health Analysis test is used to identify visceral (stomach) fat levels indicating your current fat mass risk.

The practitioner only supplements that we prescribe are rigorously tested for heavy metals, PCBs (Polychlorinated biphenyls), toxins and then external checked by independent laboratories for authenticity before been made into liquids, powders, tablets or capsules.

Meditate Deeper Than A Zen Monk:with Holosync!

The benefits of meditation on the mind and body have been known for thousands of years and have recently been validated in scientific studies. Unfortunately, many people find it difficult to meditate and give up without receiving these benefits. This problem has now been solved with the release of a powerful audio technology called Holosync that sends a very specific stimulus to the brain and creates states of deep meditation, quickly and easily.

Stimulating the brain with Holosync releases stress-reducing chemicals that are highly pleasurable. Most people go easily into a deep, trance-like meditative state normally only attained by experienced monks who have been meditating for over 20 years. In fact, EEG studies show the brain patterns experienced are actually deeper than those attained by monks.

As new neural pathways connect and synchronise the two sides of the brain, individuals develop what scientists call "whole brain functioning," which improves learning, intuition, mental clarity, creativity, concentration, and intelligence, as well as amazing quantum leaps in insight and self-awareness.

New research also reveals that even short-term exposure to Holosync creates significant increases in DHEA which is a precursor, or source ingredient, to virtually every hormone your body needs and is a buffer against stress-related hormones . It is a key determinant of physiological age. When DHEA levels are high, the body is at its peak - vibrant, healthy, and able to combat disease effectively.

Holosync also increases your ability to deal with stress and releases emotions such as anger, fear, sadness and anxiety. When Holosync is used regularly over time, many people discover that dysfunctional feelings and behaviours fall away - even those that have stubbornly resisted change in the past.

LOW FAT NO HELP

The largest study ever to ask whether a low-fat diet reduces the risk of getting cancer or heart disease has found that the diet has no effect. The $415 million US federal study involved nearly 49,000 women ages 50 to 79 who were followed for eight years. In the end, those assigned to a low-fat diet had the same rates of breast cancer, colon cancer, heart attacks and strokes as those who ate whatever they pleased, researchers are reporting today. Laughter is the best medicine!

When I discovered my first gray hair I immediately wrote to my parents: "Dear Dad and Mom, You saw my first steps. You might want to experience this with me too." I taped the offending hair to the paper and mailed it.

My father's response was in the form of a poem:

It's a trustworthy observation
That nothing can compare
In the process of aging
With finding the first gray hair.

He signed off with this observation: "That gray hair you sent is not the first one you gave us!"
