convenient sports options. Most of our links below will put
you in direct contact with the sport of your choice in your
local area. You will also find information on sign on days and
current sporting events and activities. We have sports to suit

Junior
Sports

& Women Sports
- Choose
an activity you like and that is right for you. If walking to
the shop is your idea of exercise then don't register for a Triathlon!
- Find
a sport that is handy to where you live.
- Choose
a sport that suits your lifestyle and timetable.
- Don't
overdo it at first -- that's a recipe for aches, sprains and discouragement.
Start slowly and build up!
- Find
a co-conspirator. When both spouses enter an experimental fitness
regime you are more likely to stay with the programme.
- Don't
get guilt-tripped into thinking that you've got to be running
4-minute miles to stay in shape. Any increase in your level of
activity is beneficial and is associated with a decrease in health
risk factors.
- It
does not matter how good you are, as long as you keep getting
better!
