The West End Osteopathic Clinic has been providing complementary health care
to Brisbane for over a decade.
Osteopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare encompassing "hands-on"
techniques to improve movement, reduce pain and encourage positive health
changes by an individual.
The Osteopaths at the West End Clinic are
proficient in a number of different modalities including visceral,
osteopathy in the cranial field, soft tissue mobilisation and manipulation.
Osteopathy is suitable for the youngest of infants right through all ages.
The practitioners at the West End Osteopathic Clinic have differing areas of interest. See our practitioner's page for more on each. The West End Clinic's Osteopaths are all government registered and members of the Australian Osteopathic Association, which stipulates best practice requirements for continuing professional development. They are also involved in regular in-house peer support meetings which provide further opportunity for all practitioners to keep informed of the latest medical developments or different ideas on complex problems.

The West End Osteopathic Clinic is open Monday to Saturday and does have after hours appointments.
Appointments are scheduled for approximately 40 min. and you will be asked to attend your first appointment 10 min early to ensure your personal particulars can be given to our receptionist. Practitioners are conscious of your valuable time and thus mostly run on time.
The cost of an Osteopathic consultation is $80 ($85 initial). You may claim your private health insurance rebate via the HICAPS system at the clinic directly, whereby you only pay the gap amount.
